Behind the Lace Curtains-Work Day Wednesday

As of Saturday, the last of the snow melted from the lawns of The Sisters, which means spring clean up!  I’ve already been out picking up trash that has blown onto the lawns, into the bushes and behind whatever is outside and have surveyed the flower and vegetable gardens.  I also purchased eight new planters-two each of four designs.  They are poured concrete and will replace the plastic planters I’ve used for years.  Those will now serve duty in the vegetable garden.  I can’t wait to get planting!  I’ve chosen my veggies for the year, and only the brightest flowers will do this year!  No white, gray or brown this year-bright, cheery colors will rule the flower gardens this year!
